TARZAN'S TREEHOUSE
This poster was designed originally for Hong Kong Disneyland by Greg Maletic. Greg based the poster off of Disneyland's original 1960's poster and the 1980's redo for Tokyo Disneyland --however the color has been turned back to the original Disneyland 1960's colors!!

And for the FIRST TIME EVER............................
MR. TOAD'S WILD RIDE
This design was created by Danny Handke from Walt Disney Imagineering. I think this poster came out PERFECT!
Also a 3rd generation Disneyland Jungle Cruise poster...........
This poster is also based on a design created for Hong Kong Disneyland
Keep your eyes open as more new Disneyland 2010 posters will be showing up!!
Disneyland entry tunnel before the throngs of guest arrive for the day!
I love the Mr. Toad poster and I like the fact that the Tarzan Treehouse poster was patterned after the original one for the Swiss Family Treehouse, but I have mixed feelings about the Jungle Cruise poster. Why change posters for attractions that already had great posters to begin with? I hope they aren't all being replaced. Thanks for sharing these!
ReplyDeleteI do hope they will be selling prints. I love the Mr Toad's Wild Ride!
ReplyDeleteToad is fab! Why did it take so long?!?
ReplyDeleteMaybe I am "old school", but it just seems like a strong graphic treatment (like the wonderful "Toad" example) works so much better than the more illustrated "airbrushy" style of the new Jungle Cruise example. The JC poster is not bad, but feels weak compared to Toad.
ReplyDeleteHow can we find out how and/or where to get a print of these "new" posters? (ESPECIALLY "Mr. Toad"...)
